      Alexander and his family were found in Indiana in 1850; in Minnesota in 1870. He and his brother Mitchell migrated from Ohio to Indiana and to Minnesota together. By 1880, Mitchell was in Iowa but Alexander is not found. Alexander's wife and children, Eva and Harry, are living with Mitchell in Iowa. It is assumed Alexander has died.
