Services held (Friday) in the Phillips & Luckey Chapel. Burial in the Oak Lawn Cemetery, Rockdale. Rev. D.D. Simpson officiated. He was BORN 6/20/1904 in Birmingham, AL. to M/M. Owen F. Towery. He was a Rockdale resident, lived most of his life in Milam Co. and was an auto mechanic. Married Lalia M. Catchings in 1928 in Rockdale. SURVIVORS: Son, Glenn Towery of Pflugerville; 3 brothers, C.O. Towery and Mark Towery, both of Rockdale, Philip Towery of Thorndale; sister, Mrs. Norma Caffey of Thorndale; 4 grandchildren.
