  On her husband's WWI draft card her name is written plainly as Ollie, not Allie. The following copied from a website which didn't say where they copied it from! It looks like info from a death certificate. I have checked several census records for Samuel D. and Martha Caffey Thomas but do not find any daughter by name of Sarah, Ruth or Ollie in them. So I remain puzzled about Sarah's parents. Perhaps she wanted to be called by a different name? Perhaps a study of Thomas genealogy would answer some questions.
