MEMORIAL: Born Oct. 19, 1813, Baptized Dec. 12, 1835, and ordained to office of Deacon May 7, 1836. Married to Christiana Tharp Feb. 2, 1837. Twelve children, six of whom are still living. He died at his home near Freemansburg Feb. 5, 1901, 87 years 3 months 16 days. Funeral Services at Freemans Creek Baptist Church, interred in Freemansburg cemetery.
